Cast on 174 stitches and knit 6 rounds in garter stitch.

Place a marker counting 6 points from each edge. These stitches are knitted on all rows, the repeat pattern is worked over the middle 162 stitches.

Important: After finishing the first ball, the last stripe will be blue (dark). Before starting to knit with the second ball, cut the blue (dark) part of the second ball so that the stripes are the same length and so that the blanket is not too long.

Knit until the piece measures the same length on both sides of the center stripe (approx. 83 cm).
