- The bottom row will be the top of the hat. Turn the hat inside out. Thread a long piece of yarn through a large darning needle and sew a loose stitch through the base row.
- Pull the ends tight, closing the top. Weave the ends together to secure the top. Turn the piece over to the correct side.
- Add a pom pom to your hat.
