Work in a spiral – do not join.

Row 3: [2 sc in the next st, sc in the next st], repeat between [ ] to the end, pr in the next st. Close leaving a long tail to sew on the eyes. (24)

With black thread, embroider the center of the eye in white. With the blue, add an outline around the side edges.

Finish

Using the photo as a guide, sew the eyes and beak in place. Make a small lock of hair at the top of the bib. Add facial features, such as eyebrows or eyelashes, if desired.
