Round 4: Sc 1. (2 sc in the next sc. 1 sc in each of the next 2 sc) 6 times. Join. 24 bp.

Round 5: Sc 1. (2 sc in the next sc. 1 sc in each of the next 3 sc) 6 times. Join. 30 bp.

Continue as established, inc 6 sc each round until you have 126 sc.

Main section

Row 1: Sc 2. Working only in the back loops, 1 hdc in each sc around, inc 4 stitches evenly around. Join. 130mpa.

Rows 2 to 39: Pc 2. 1 hdc in the space between each hdc around. Join.

Row 40: Sc 1. Working from left to right, instead of right to left, as usual, work 1 reverse sc in each hdc around. Join. Button up.

Strips (beam 2)

With A, 100 pcs.

Row 1 (right side): 1 sc in 2nd sc from hook. 1 sc in each pc until the end of the chain. Tour. 99 bp.

Rows 2 to 5: Sc 1. 1 sc in each sc until the end of the row. Tour. Fold the handle in half lengthwise and work through both thicknesses to join row 5 to the base row, working 1 sc in each stitch to the end of the row. Button up.

Sew the strips in place as shown in the photo.
