Blanket

4 Pc. Join with a sl st to the first pc to form a ring.

Round 1: 3 Pc. 13 Pa in the ring. Join with a sl st to the top of pc 3. 14 dc.

Round 2: 3 Pc. 1 Dc in the same space as the last st. 2 dc in each dc around. Join with a sl st at the top of pc 3. 28 Pa.

Round 3: 3 Pc. 4 Dc in the same space as the last st. *Dc3tog. 5 Dc in next dc. Repeat from * to the last 3 sts. Dc3tog. Join the top of pc 3 with a sl st.

Row 4: Pr in next dc. 3 Pc. 2 Dc in the same dc as the tr. *Popcorn point. 3 Dc in next dc. Dc3tog.** 3 Dc in next dc. Repeat from * around, ending the last repetition at **. Join with a sl st to the top of pc 3.

Row 5: Pr in next dc. 3 Pc. *3 DC in next DC. Popcorn. 3 Dc in next dc. 1 dc in next dc. Sc3tog.** 1 Dc in next dc. Repeat from * around, ending the last repetition at **. Join with a sl st at the top of pc 3.

Row 6: Pr in next dc. 3 Pc. 1 dc in next dc. *3 DC in next DC. Popcorn. 3 Dc in next dc. 1 dc in each of the next 2 dc. Dc3tog.** 1 Dc in each of the next 2 dc. Repeat from * around, ending the last repetition at **. Join with a sl st at the top of pc 3.

Row 7: Pr in next dc. 3 Pc. 1 dc in each of the next 2 dc. *3 Dc in next dc. Popcorn. 3 Dc in next dc. 1 dc in each of the next 3 dc. Dc3tog.** 1 Dc in each of the next 3 dc. Repeat from * around, ending the last repetition at **. Join with a sl st at the top of pc 3.

Continue as stated, taking 1 more dc between the stitch and the valley on each round, until the center to the outer stitch measures approximately 30″ [76 cm]. Close.

Tassels (make 7)

Cut a piece of cardboard 12.5 cm wide. Wrap the thread around the cardboard 40 times. Break off leaving a long end and thread it through the needle. Pull the needle through all the hook loops firmly. Remove the cardboard and wrap the thread tightly around the loops 1 inch below the fold. Fixed firmly.

Cut through the remaining loops and trim the ends evenly. Sew a tassel to each “corner” along the edge of the blanket as shown in the image.
