    Final length: Approximately 86.5 cm.

    Calibre

1 1/2 chevrons + 7 rows = approximately 10 cm over rows 1 and 2, measured from peak to peak.

    15 single crochets = about 10 cm.

    Instructions

The skirt is worked in one piece in joined rows and rows from top to bottom.

The drawstring makes the waist measurement adjustable.

The chevron pattern consists of alternating peaks of 3 high crochets and troughs of 3 high crochets together.

Be careful to keep the peaks and valleys of each row aligned. Work 3 double crochets in the central high point of the peaks and 3 double crochets together centered on the valleys. The number of points between peaks and valleys is gradually increased to shape the skirt.

To change the color of the thread, work the last stitch of the previous color until the last round of thread. Pull the yarn of the new color through all the loops on the hook to complete the stitch. Close the previous color.

If you find it difficult to join the first chain into a ring without twisting the chain, row 1 can be worked as a row and then joined in a row, as follows: Leaving a long starting tail, chain 123, 2 double crochets in the 4th chain from the hook (3 skipped chains count as first double crochet), double crochet in the next 3 chains, 3 double crochet together, *double crochet in the next 3 chains, 3 double crochet in the next 3 chains, knit high in the next 3 chains, 3 double crochet together; repeat from * to last 3 chains, double crochet in last 3 chains; join with a slip stitch at the top of the starting chain – you will have 12 chevrons in this row/round. Use the starter tail to sew the gap at the base of the first row. Go to lap 2.
