    Instructions

    Floral patterns

Knit 7 rows, following the diagram. The numbers indicate the beginning of the laps. Work the first round around a magic ring. Begin rounds 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7, each with 1 sl st in the indicated color. On round 2, work the sc between the hdc of round 1. Close each round with 1 sl st.

Reason 1: Round 1 in Lilac, round 2 in Vanilla, round 3 in Tangerine, round 4 in Lilac, rounds 5 + 6 in Tangerine, round 7 in Vanilla.

Motif 2: Round 1 in Vanilla, round 2 in Tangerine, round 3 in Lilac, round 4 in Vanilla, rounds 5 + 6 in Lilac, round 7 in Tangerine.

Motif 3: Round 1 in Tangerine, round 2 in Lilac, round 3 in Vanilla, round 4 in Tangerine, rounds 5 + 6 in Vanilla, round 7 in Lilac.

    Learn

First knit 3 motifs as described above. Next, match the reasons. To do this, place 2 motifs together, with the right sides facing each other. Sew the motifs along one side, from sc corner to sc corner (see thin arrows in diagram), with an overcast stitch. When sewing the motifs together, take only the outer loops of the stitches from the last rows.

Sew the 3 motifs together, to form a row, then sew motif 3 to motif 1, to form a ring.

Following the diagram, work rounds a to ch along the top edge, working round a with Jade and rounds b and c with Tangerine. Begin pattern as shown, repeat pattern continuously and close each round with 1 sl.

On the bottom edge, work 2 rounds with Jade. She works the first round the same way as round a on the top edge.

On the 2nd round, work the shrimp stitches (= sc, worked from left to right). Start with 1 sc and work the sc around the sc from the previous round.
