Assembling the Voodoo Doll Pincushion

Arms: Sew the first arm to the body (the narrowest part of the piece made up of the body and head) directly under the edge of the stitch. The knitted edge is formed by the loop knitted only with the back loop. Use the photos to guide you on where to correctly place the first arm.

Sew the second arm directly opposite the first, again under the edge of the stitch.

Legs: Sew the first leg to the back of the body over the knitted edge. Be sure to sew the leg even with the arm. Use the photos to guide you on where to correctly place the first leg.

Sew the second leg next to the first, again under the edge of the stitch. Make sure that the arms and legs are at the same level.

Once finished, you will have a simple amigurumi doll that you can turn into whatever you want: in this case, a voodoo doll.

Voodoo transformation: To turn this doll into a voodoo doll you will only have to add Black threads between the body and the arms/legs to make it look like a primitive doll reminiscent of those used to make voodoo. Take Black thread and draw a line from one part of the body to another. Don’t do them too regularly.
