Use the main color.

Make a magic ring.

R1: 6 SC inside the magic ring.

R2: 6 inc = 12 sc

R3: 1 sc, 1 inc = 18 sc

R4: 2 sc, 1 inc = 24 sc

R5 and 6: 24 sc

Fasten with a sew-on tail (approx. 8″) Close and make a second part and do not cut the thread. Join the parts in the next row.

R7: 24 sc in part 1 and 24 sc in part 2 = 48 sc

R 8-10 (3 rounds): 48 sc.

Use the tail to sew the gap between the 2 parts in R7.

R11: 10 sc, 1 dec = 44 sc

R12: 44 sc

R13: 9 sc, 1 dec = 40 sc

R14: 40 bp

R15: 8 sc, 1 dec = 36 sc

R16: 7 sc, 1 dec = 32 sc

R17: 6 sc, 1 dec = 28 sc

R18: 5 sc, 1 dec= 24 sc

R19: 4 sc, 1 dec= 20 sc

R20: 3 sc, 1 dec = 16 sc

Insert the filling so that the heart is rigid.

R21: 2 sc, 1 dec = 12 sc

R22: 1 sc, 1 dec = 8 sc

Before fastening off, apply glue to tip of skewer (1.25″) and insert into magic ring, 1.5″ into heart.

With the tapestry needle, weave the yarn through the front loop of each stitch on the last row, gently pulling the taught yarn.
