•  Row 2: 1 sc in the 2nd stitch from the needle, 39 sc (40 stitches).

knit the nose

The nose is knitted with Mango yarn , in a spiral single crochet.

• Crochet the nose in a spiral with Mango yarn .
•  Round 1: 4 sc inside the magic ring (4 stitches).
•   Round 2-3: 2 rounds, each round 4 sc (4 stitches).
• Finishing: Cut the thread leaving a good margin and leave a long tail to sew.

 

knit the hat

The hat is knitted with Golf Green and Red yarn , in a spiral single crochet and slip stitch.

• Knit the hat in a spiral with Golf Green yarn .
•  Round 1: 6 sc inside the magic ring (6 stitches).
•  Round 2: [1 inc] x 6 (12 stitches).
•  Round 3: [1 sc, 1 inc] x 6 (18 stitches).
•  Round 4: 1 sc, 1 inc, [2 sc, 1 inc] x 5, 1 sc (24 stitches).
•  Round 5: [3 sc, 1 inc] x 6 (30 stitches).
•  Round 6: [9 sc, 1 inc] x 3 (33 stitches).
•     Round 7-10: 4 rounds, each round 33 sc (33 stitches).
•  Round 11: Color change to Red . 33 sc (33 stitches).
•  Row 12: Knit only 3 pe.
• Finishing: Close, finish off and hide the excess thread.

 

knit the pompom

For the pompom, you will need a fork and Red thread . Wrap the string at least 10 times around 3 of the fork tines.

• Use a Red color thread to tie the threads in half.

• Remove the threads from the fork and tighten them again, and then make two more knots so that they do not come undone.

• Cut the loops with a pair of scissors to form a pompom.

• Cut the threads so that they are the same size and unravel them, except for the thread with which you tied the set of threads.

 

Mounting

Legs: Once you have knitted all the pieces, sew the legs to the body. Start by sewing the first leg directly over the edge that forms the loop, taking only the back loop. Sew the second leg about 4-5 stitches to the left or right of the first leg, also over the edge.

Arms: Sew the arms to the left and right of the body, leaving a distance of one row below the “neck”. Do not sew the arms directly at the height of the legs, but a little further back.

Eyes: Place the safety eyes under the 7th row of stitches from the top center of the head. The separation between the eyes is 4 points. Return to the crochet pattern .

Nose: Sew the nose under the eyes, in the center.

Hat: Thread a thread from the pom pom onto the embroidery needle and pass it through the center of the hat, along the top.

Now, pass the second thread through a stitch that is right next to it.

Tie a knot with both threads on the inside of the hat and cut the excess thread.

To finish, place the hat on the snowman and, if you want, sew it to the head.

Scarf: Wrap the scarf around your neck and tie a small knot in it.

Buttons: Embroider two buttons with Black thread in the center of the body.
