With the largest hook and 2 strands together, 8 pc.
Row 1: 1 sc in 2nd pc from hook. 1 sc in each st until the end of the chain. 7 Pb. Spin.
Rows 2-4: 1 Pc. 1 sc in each sc until the end of the row. Spin.
Row 5: 1 Pc. 1 sc in each sc until the end of the row. Do not rotate. Begin working the rows in a continuous spiral. Do not join at the end of the rows. Place a dot marker to indicate the beginning of the row and move the marker as you go.
Row 6: 1 sc in each sc around. Repeat the last row until the handle measures 25″ [63.5 cm]. Turn to the end of the last row. Start working as follows:
Next row: 1 pc. 1 sc in each of the next 7 sc. Spin. Repeat the last row 4 more times. Close.
Sew the handles to the top edge of the bag as seen in the photo.
