Pieces are worked in a continuous spiral from a magic ring, unless otherwise specified. Mark the first stitch of each round with a removable stitch marker.

Gauge is not important in this pattern. Use a hook size according to the chosen yarn. Make sure the stitches are tight enough to prevent the padding from showing, and adjust the hook size if necessary.

V8-17 are written as: # of sc (abbreviation of color), example: 16 sc (A) means 16 sc in black.

All color changes are made to the last strand of the previous color. You can run your colors through the smaller sections and cut and tie the rest, but do what feels most comfortable for you.

Fasten and weave the end.

Using thread D, sew the peak between R11 and R12 going over the 2 black dots. Go over 3-4 times or until desired look is achieved.

Bow tie

Use thread C.

R1: Sc 12, hdc in the 3rd sc from the hook and in each sc across (10).

V2-3: Pc 1, gira. [Mpa] x10 (10).

Button and weave the ends.

Pinch the bow in the center and, using a long piece of thread, tie it around the center to secure. Wrap the threads around the center of the loop 5-6 times. Tie a knot in the back.

Sew the bow to the penguin above V16 and V17. Intertwine the ends.

Attach a loop for hanging at the top.
