Crochet the Second Leg of the Doll
Continue with the second leg with Light Apricot yarn in a spiral single crochet. To do this, attach a thread to the leg opening and continue knitting as normal.
- Crochet the leg in a spiral with Light Apricot yarn .
- Round 1: Tie a knot with the thread that is large enough to not pass through a stitch.
- Next, and from the back of the doll, pass the needle through the point that is closest to the leg that you have already finished knitting (see the images). The front part of the doll is the part where you have knitted the 4 increases of the foot.
- Make a loop with the needle and pass it through the stitch. Pull the thread until the knot will not allow you to pull any further. You will have a loop on the needle.
- Now pass the needle through the next stitch on the front side and knit 1 sc.
- Knit 11 sc and you will have completed the first round of the second leg. Work the last sc into the last stitch you threaded through at the beginning (12 stitches).
- Round 2-3: 2 rounds, each round 12 sc (12 stitches).
- Row 4: 2 sc, knit only in the front loop, 4 inc, knit again with both loops of the point, 6 sc (16 stitches).
- Round 5: 16 sc (16 stitches).
- Round 6: 3 sc, [1 dis] x 4, 5 sc (12 stitches).
- Finishing: Cut the thread leaving a good margin to be able to knit another 6 stitches later and close the opening. Continue with the left arm crochet pattern (“Crochet Doll’s Left Arm”).
