    Row 1:  1 sc in the 2nd sc from the hook. 1 sc in next sc. 2 sc in each of the next 2 sc. 1 sc in each of the last 2 stitches. Working on the opposite side of the sc, 1 sc in each sc to the last sc. Join. 14 bp.

    Rounds 2 and 3:  Pc 1. 1 sc in each stitch around. Join. Fasten, leaving a long tail to sew the beak to the duck’s head.

    Round 4:  Work as in round 2.

    Round 5:  Sc 1. *2 sc in the next stitch. 1 sc in each of the next 3 stitches. Repeat from * around. Join. 15 bp.

    Round 7:  Sc 1. *2 sc in the next stitch. 1 sc in each of the next 4 stitches. Repeat from * around. Join. 18 bp.

    Fasten, leaving a long train. Sew on each side of the duck where they meet as shown in the photo.

    Legs (bundle 2)

    With B, start by using the magic loop method.

    Round 1:  Pc 1. 10 sc in the ring. Join. 10 bp.

    Round 2:  Sc 1. 2 sc in each sc around. Join. 20 bp.

    Round 3:  Sc 1. 1 sc in each of the first 6 sc. 3 dc in next sc. 1 sc in each of the next 2 sc. 3 dc in next sc. 1 sc in each of the next 2 sc. 3 dc in next sc. 1 sc in each of the last 7 stitches. Join. 26 points.

    Round 4:  Working only in the back loop, work 1 sc in each of the next 8 stitches. Skip the next step. 1 sc in each of the next 4 stitches. Skip the next step. 1 sc in each stitch until the end of the round. Join. 23 points.

    Round 5:  Pc 1. 1 sc in each stitch around. Join.

    Round 6:  Pc 1. 1 sc in the first stitch. (Sc2tog) until the end of the round. Join. 12 points.

    Round 7:  Work as in round 5.

    Fasten, leaving a tail.

    Stuff the legs with polyfill and sew to the bottom of the duck approximately 5 rows of the bottom and 15 separation points.

    Round 2:  Pc 1. *2 sc in the first stitch. 1 sc in the next stitch. Repeat from * until the end of the round. Join. 9 bp.

    Round 4:  Pc 1. *2 sc in the first stitch. 1 sc in each of the next 3 stitches. Repeat from * until the end of the round. Join. 15 bp.
