This pattern requires working completely around a chain. We’ll start by making the chip box, then the chip box insert, and finally the chips.
Box
Start with red thread.
The box is made by creating a pc. We will work all the way around this pc to make a round – not working back and forth in a row.
Round 1: Pc 11 (photo 1). sc 3 times in the 2nd ch on the hook (photo 2). Sc in the next 8 stitches, sc 3 times in the next sc. Now we will find the end of the PCs (photo 3). Turn to the other side, where we have not made any points yet (photo 4). sc in the next 8 stitches (photo 5). (22)
Round 2: *Inc* in the next 3 stitches. Sc in the next 8 stitches, *inc* in the next 3 stitches, sc in the next 8 stitches. (28)
Round 3: In the BLO, *sc* all around. (28)
Row 4-5: In both loops, *sc* all around. (28)
Round 6: *Inc, sc 6* all around. (32)
Round 7: *Pb* all around. (32)
Add an eye stitch marker to the 12th and 16th stitches on round 7. I recommend using a different color for these stitch markers so as not to confuse them with the stitch marker on round.
Round 8-10: *Pb* all around. (32)
Round 11: *Inc, sc 7* all around. (36)
Round 12-13: *Sc* all around. (36)
Round 14-15: dc in the next 12 stitches, hdc in the next stitch, dc in the next stitch, dc in the next 9 stitches, dc in the next stitch, hdc in the next stitch, dc in the next 11 stitches. (36)
Finish off now. Weave the ends. Now add the eyes in the marked areas of round 7.
Box insert
Start with yellow thread.
Before we can make the fries, we need to place a piece inside the box. This piece will allow us to fill the box. We will also sew the fries to this piece.
Round 1: PC 12. SC 3 times in the 2nd PC from the hook. Sc in the next 9 stitches. Sc 3 times in the next stitch. Now we will meet the end of the PC. Turn to the other side, where we haven’t made any stitches yet. Sc in the next 9 stitches. (24)
Round 2: *Inc* in the next 3 stitches, sc in the next 9 stitches, *inc* in the next 3 stitches, sc in the next 9 stitches. (30)
Round 3: *Inc, sc in the next stitch* 3 times, sc in the next 9 stitches, *inc, sc in the next stitch* 3 times, sc in the next 9 stitches. (36)
Finish off, leaving a long tail to sew.
Place the yellow piece in the box, try to line it up with round 13 of the box (photo 1). He takes a long piece of red thread and places it on a needle. Insert the needle into row 13 of the box (photo 2). Pass the needle through a stitch on the yellow piece (photo 3). Insert the needle into the next stitch on the box (photo 4). Repeat this operation until it is almost sewn (photo 5). Fill the box well. Continue sewing it closed and weave the ends together.
Large potatoes (pack of 4)
Start with yellow thread.
Row 1: Sc 7. Sc 3 times in the 2nd sc from the hook. SC in the next 4 points. Sc 3 times in next sc. Now we will meet the end of the PC. Turn to the other side, where we haven’t made any points yet. SC in the next 4 points. (14)
Round 2: *Inc* in the next 3 stitches, sc in the next 4 stitches, *inc* in the next 3 stitches, sc in the next 4 stitches. (twenty)
Round 3: *Inc, sc in the next stitch* 3 times, sc in the next 4 stitches, *inc, sc in the next stitch* 3 times, sc in the next 4 stitches. (26)
Finish off, leaving a long tail to sew. Fold the frying in half (photo 2). Insert the needle from both sides as shown (photo 3). Repeat this operation along the length of the potato until it is completely sewn. Now place the 4 large potatoes as shown (photo 4-5), making sure to place them at the front. Later we will place the small potatoes in the back. Sew each potato chip to the yellow piece we made earlier (photo 6).
Small potatoes (make 3)
Start with yellow thread.
Row 1: Sc 6. Sc 3 times in the 2nd sc from the hook. SC in the next 3 points. Sc 3 times in next sc. Now we will meet the end of the PC. Turn to the other side, where we haven’t made any points yet. SC in the next 3 points. (12)
Round 2: *Inc* in the next 3 stitches, sc in the next 3 stitches, *inc* in the next 3 stitches, sc in the next 3 stitches. (18)
Round 3: *Inc, sc in the next stitch* 3 times, sc in the next 3 stitches, *inc, sc in the next stitch* 3 times, sc in the next 3 stitches. (24)
Finish off leaving a long tail to sew. Fold the frying pan in half (photo 2). Insert the needle from both sides as shown (photo 3). Repeat this operation downwards until the potato is completely sewn. Now place the 3 small potatoes as shown (photo 4), make sure to place them behind the large potatoes; They will go between each large potato. Sew the fries to the yellow piece we made earlier (photo 5-6).
smile
Use yellow thread or black embroidery thread.
Insert the needle with the thread next to the right eye and pull it out next to the left eye, as shown (photo 1). Reinsert the needle at the same point next to the right eye (photo 2) and pull the needle out halfway as shown, making sure the needle falls over the thread (photo 2). Insert the needle into the same central area, but make sure the needle falls under the thread (photo 3). Take the needle out through the right eye (photo 3). Weave the ends.
