Information and tips Each part is filled firmly, unless the pattern says otherwise. Knit with some tension to avoid holes between the stitches. Everything is woven in a spiral in the round except some parts of the basket.

Basket (With two Dusty Green threads and 6 mm hook)

Basket Handle (with Dusty Green and 3mm Hook) Start weaving with one long end at first. Make 86 ch.

R1: Start in 3rd ch from needle, 1 hdc in each st, ch 2, turn (84)

R2: 1 hdc in each st, ch 1, turn (84)

R3: 1 sc in each st (84) Fold the piece in half on the short side and knit through the two layers to close them.

Cut a piece of metal wire that is just over twice the length of the handle, fold it in half, and tuck it into the handle along the way.

R4: Ch 1 and turn, 1 tr in each st (84)

Close, leaving a long piece to sew later.

Cut the excess wire.

Sew each end of the handle to the bottom of the basket about 1cm below the last loop.

Sew the hat to the head on round 10 in the stitches that are left unworked. Stuff the hat while you sew.

Cheeks

(make 2 with Candyfloss and 3mm hook)

Ears (Bundle 2 with Beige and 3mm hook)

Rnd 4-6: 1 sc in each st (12)

Don’t stuff the ear. Lay the opening flat and weave through the two layers to close the piece.

R8: 4 sc (4) Close, leaving a long piece to sew later. Flatten the ear on the last round to give it shape. Sew the ears to each side of the head between rows 16 and 17.
