Round 1: ch 24, sc in 2nd chain from hook and in every ch across (23).
Rows 2-8: PC 1, turn. [Pb] x23 (23).
Rows 9-10: PC 1, turn. 1 sc (B), 21 sc (A), 1 sc (B) (23).

Button and weave the ends.
Using the 4-ply floss or embroidery floss, sew the eyes onto rows 10 and 11, approximately 13 stitches apart and 4 stitches from each edge.
Using 3 strands of black embroidery floss, sew a long line for the mouth between rows 7 and 8, starting and ending 2 stitches from each eye.
Using a small amount of color C yarn, sew the cheeks next to each eye over a single dc and go over each cheek twice.
Back (background color)
Round 1: ch 24, sc in second ch from hook and in every ch across (23).
Rows 2-23: PC 1, turn. [Pb] x23 (23).
Don’t fasten.

For the border of your coaster, you will need to switch colors between the background color (B) and color A.
The instructions below indicate when to change color. However, it is not necessary for the number of stitches to match the die exactly, as long as all sides are knitted evenly. Color changes take place 1 point after and 1 point before this color section.
Row 24: Place the right sides of the front and back together and face up, it will work through both pieces. 1st sc, 2 sc in the corner stitch. 21 sc, 3 sc in the corner, 15 sc – change to color A in the last stitch. 6 sc, 3 sc in the corner, 21 sc, 3 sc in the corner, 6 sc – change to color B in the last stitch, 15 sc. When you return to where you started, make a sc in the same point you started (96).
Round 25: Change to color C and make a st in the first sc to join. Continue with a sc around the coaster (96).
