Knit back and forth. Start at the hem.
With D-3 hook and Charme yarn, chain 209 and follow Pattern A, diagram 1, repeat stitches and measurement diagram = 19 motifs.
Rows 1-34: Follow Pattern A – diagram 1 and repeat stitches.
Row 35: Begin to shape the neckline: follow the diagram in part 1 and 2 of rows 35 – 41.
Use the stitch markers to divide the piece: front right = 5 motifs, back = 9 motifs, front left = 5 motifs and work separately from row 42-57 following Pattern A. Switch to tapestry needle and join the shoulders, leave 8″ open for the arms, set the piece aside.
Sleeves (make 2)
Start with the fist. Knit in the round.
Chain 88 and close with 1 slip stitch. Follow pattern B – 8 motifs – diagram 2 and repeat the points. 17.75″ from the start, button up and do the other sleeve.
assembly and finishing
Sew the shoulders (6.75″) with the tapestry needle, leaving 8″ open for the arms. Sew the sleeves to the body.
Knitted edge: Use the D-3 hook and follow the knitted edge – diagram 3 and repeat the stitches around the cuffs. Single crochet 1 row along the left and right bands, neckline, and hem.
