With pink thread
Insert your needle into the BLO (Rnd 12) of the head with the needle point down
(from pink to brown), and ch 1
Rnd 1. 1 sc in the next 12 st (12) ch 1 and turn
Rnd 2. 1 dec, 1 sc in next 8 st, 1 dec (10)
Ch 1 and turn
R 3. 1 sc in eacad of the pt (10)
Ch 1 and turn
R 4. 1 dec, 1 sc in next 6 st, 1 dec (8)
Now don’t ch 1 or turn your project. Continue on brim side, work 4 pc. along the side. Then you reach the BLO in V12 of the head. First pc where you attached the thread to the BLO. Then work a ch in each st around the head (37)
When you get to the brim side, knit 4 pc. along side of brim then 7 ch at front edge before fastening with 1 ch. Weave in their yarn tails.

Hat Button

With dark pink thread.
Rnd 1. Make a SR, knit 5 sc in the SR and join (5)
Rnd 2. 1 inc in each st of the round (10)
Rnd 3. ch in each st of the round (10)
Fasten off with a tr and leave an end of thread to sew. Sew the button to the top of the head, over the magic ring.

Flores (x2)

With yellow thread.
Rnd 1. Make a SR, weave 5 sc in the SR and join it, ch first st (5)
Change color to pink
Rnd 2. (2 hdc, 1 ch in the same st) repeat 5 times in total (10)
Fasten off with a ch and weave the ends of thread. Save a tail of thread for sewing.

Face

Embroider the eyes between row 16-17, with 6-7 stitches apart. Embroider the eyebrows from 2 rows above the eyes, and go down 2 rows, make them 2-3 st wide. Embroider the nose between the safety eyes. With the same thread, embroider small cheeks under the eyes. Finish off all the thread tails.

Ears (x2)

With brown thread.
Rnd 1. Make a SR, knit 6 sc in the SR and join (6)
Rnd 2. 1 inc in each st of the round (12)
Rnd 3. (1 sc, 1 inc) repeat 6 times (18)
Rnd 4. ( 2 sc, 1 inc) repeat 6 times (24)
R 5-6. sc in each st of the round (24) (2 rounds in total)
Rnd 7. (1 dec, 10 sc) repeat 2 times (22)
Rnd 8. sc in each st of the round (22)
Rnd 9. (1 dec, 9 sc ) repeat 2 times (20)
Rnd 10. sc each st of the round (20)
Rnd 11. (1 dec, 8sc) repeat 2 times (18)
Rnd 12-13. sc each st of the round (18) (2 rounds in total)
Rnd 14. (1 dec, 7 sc) repeat 2 times (16)

Fold ears together and knit 3 sc through both layers. Finish off with a pc and leave thread tail to sew.

With pink thread You may have to adjust the number of ch and sc depending on the circumference of the wooden ring.
Rnd 1. ch 11, turn
Rnd 2. in second ch from hook, sc in each st on row (10)
Rnd 3-25. ch 1, turn, sc each st in the round (10)
Bind off with a ch and leave an end of thread to sew.

Mounting

Sew the strip around the wooden ring. Sew the head to the ring. Be sure to sew many stitches, back and forth, so that the head stays in place. Sew the ears in V10-11 of the head, about 5-6 pc from the edge. then sew in 2 flowers where you attached the ear to the head. Secure and cut all thread tails.
