  • Scissors.
  • Hook of the size of 25 mm.

Measurements

  • Finished blanket size: 44 inches x 36 inches.

Caliber

  • 3 Pts, 2 rows: 4 inches.

Instructions

  • 35 Pc.
  • Row 1: Starting in the 3rd ch from hook, work 1 hdc in each ch. 2 PC and rotate.
  • Row 2: (The turning ch does not count as a st) Inserting the hook only in the back loops, work a sliding hds (HDSS) in each st on the row. 2 PC and rotate.
  • Row 3: Inserting hook only in BLO, hdc in each st on row. 2 PC and rotate.
  • Repeat rows 2 through 3 for fifteen more rows, or until blanket measures approximately 36 inches. (blanket is worked lengthwise so base pc should measure about 44 inches)
  • Switching to a new ball of yarn, we found it best to knot the ends together and leave tails long enough that we could weave them into the blanket by hand.
