✅ 26 1⁄2 stitches and 16 rows = 4″ [10 cm] in the diamond pattern section.
Instructions
✅ The bag is worked in 2 pieces (outer bag and inner lining) and they are joined in the finish.
✅ The outer bag is worked in 1 piece with the diamond pattern section worked from side to side. Then the top and bottom sections are worked through the edges of the diamond pattern section (see diagram).
✅ For the fringes, cut pieces of the main color (CP) 315″ [38 cm] long. Taking 6 strands, fold them in half and tie a knot at every 2nd stitch along bottom seam of outer bag. Trim the fringes evenly.
✅ To attach the strap, fold the strap in half and thread the looped end through chain space 6 on the trim. Pull the loose ends of the strap through the loop to secure it in place (in the same way as when tying the fringe knot).
Take the loose ends of the strap and tie a knot through the chain space 6 of the trim to secure it in place, adjust to the desired length, leaving the ends loose.
