Crochet the Mouth
The mouth is crocheted in White in rows with chain stitches.
- Crochet the mouth in rows in White.
- Row 1: Crochet 5 chain stitches (5 stitches).
- Finish: Cut the yarn generously and leave a long tail for sewing.
Assembling
Fill the Body: After you finished crocheting the body of the gingerbread man, it is necessary to fill it and close the openings. First use the openings at the arms and legs to fill the body with polyfill and then the respective limbs.
Close Openings: After you have filled the entire body with enough polyfill, it is time to close the openings. First, using a thread in Chestnut, sew together the 4 stitches in the crotch of the gingerbread man.
Then close the arm and leg openings.
Eyebrows: Sew the eyebrows right and left, 1 stitch row above the eyes, onto the head.
Buttons: Take a Signal Red thread and form a circle with it, same as if you would do a basic knot. Wind one end of the thread 3 times through the circle and then tighten.
Attach the 2 buttons one below the other centered on the body as shown in the pictures.
Mouth: Attach the mouth in the 2nd stitch row below the eyes onto the head.
