Side panels (make 2)
❇️ Work from ** to ** as indicated for front and back panels.
❇️ Repeat the last round until the work from the beginning measures 35.5 cm [14 inches], finishing with a reverse round.
❇️ Next row: (Correct side). 1Pc. 1 sc in each of the first 11 sc. 4 Pc. Skip the next 4 sc. 1 sc in each of the next 10 sc.4 sc. Skip the next 4 sc. 1 sc in each sc until the end of the row. Lap.
❇️ Next row: 1 Pc. 1 sc in each of the first 11 sc. 4 sc in next sc-4 spaces. 1 sc in each of the next 10 sc. 4 sc in next sc-4 spaces. 1 sc in each sc until the end of the row. Lap. Work another 2 rows in sc. Close.
❇️ Join the panels: Place the panels forming a box, with the opposite side panels.
❇️ With the center of 2 panels at a time, join 2 strands of thread with a sl st in the upper left corner.
❇️ 1 Pc. Working through both thicknesses, work 1 sc row evenly along side. Close.
❇️ Repeat this operation for the other panels.
❇️ Base: Work from ** to ** as on the front and back panels.
❇️ Repeat the last row until the work from the beginning measures 30.5 cm [12 inches], ending with a row on the wrong side. Do not close.
❇️ Attach the base to the panels: With the right side of the base facing, place the bottom edge of the joined panels behind the base with the wrong side working together, lining up the corners of the base with the rows of joined panels.
❇️ Next round: 1 Pc. Working through both thicknesses, work 1 round of sc evenly around all 4 sides of the base. Join with a sl st in the first sc. Close.
❇️ Top edge: With the right side of the work front, join 2 strands of thread with pr to any corner of the top edge. 1Pc. Working from left to right instead of right to left as usual, work 1 round of the reverse sc evenly around the top edge. Join with sl st in the first sc. Top off.
