Use the thread needle and sew the wrong sides of each base together.

Round 1: Join C1 in the blo of any corner point, sc 1, working in blo, sc in each stitch around, sl to first sc to join.

Round 2: Sc 1, sc in each stitch around, sl st to the first sc until joined. Button up.

Round 3: Join CP, pc 1, loose tr in each stitch around, tr to first stitch to join. Button up.
