✅ The cushion measures approximately 24″ [61 cm] square.

Caliber

✅ 8 sc and 9 rows = 4″ [10 cm].

Instructions

The pc 2 at the beginning of the row does not count as mp.

Use different balls of yarn for each color section of the design. Don’t carry unused colors through the line.

To change color, work to the last 2 loops on the hook of the last stitch. Trace the new color through the last 2 loops and continue with the new color.

Sections D are worked in cross stitch embroidery once the front of the cushion is completed.

Front part

Follow diagram I.

With A, pc 49.

Row 1 (right side): 1 sc in 2nd sc from hook. 1 sc in each sc to the end of the sc. Tour. 48 bp. row 1 of the diagram completed.

Continue working diagram I as follows, taking into account that each square is equivalent to 1 bp.

Row 2: Sc 1. 1 sc in each sc until the end of the row. Tour.

Repeat row 2 and continue working diagram 1 until you have completed all 54 rows of the diagram, reading the correct side rows from right to left and the wrong side rows from left to right. Button up.

With D, follow diagram 2, work the embroidery in cross stitch as indicated, taking into account that an X is worked on a sc.

Back (make 2 alike)

With A, pc 49.

Row 1: 1 sc in the 2nd sc from the hook, 1 sc in each sc to the end of the sc. Tour. 48 bp.

Row 2: Sc 1. 1 sc in each sc until the end of the row. Tour.

Repeat row 2 until work measures from beginning 10 1⁄2” [26.5 cm].

Next row: Sc 2. 1 hdc in each sc until the end of the row. Tour.

Next row: Pc 1. *1 hdcfp around the next hdc. 1 hdcbp around the next mpa. Repeat from * to the end of the row. Tour.

Repeat the last row until the piece from the beginning measures 14″ [35.5 cm].

Button up.
