    The tunic is worked in 4 pieces: Back, front and two sleeves.

    Each piece is worked back and forth in rows, beginning with a single crochet bottom band. After the bottom band is complete, the body of each piece is worked in a V-stitch pattern.

    68 PCs (76, 84, 92, 100, 108, 118).

    lower band

    Row 1 (right side): sc in 2nd ch from hook and in every remaining ch across – 67 (75, 83, 91, 99, 107, 117) sc. Rows 2-4: PC 1, turn, sc in each stitch across.

    Body (V point pattern)

    Row 5 (right side): ch 3 (counts as first dc here and throughout), turn, dcS-st in next stitch, *skip next stitch, dcS-st in next stitch; repeat from * to the last stitch, tr in the last stitch – 33 (37, 41, 45, 49, 53, 58) dcV-sts and 1 tr at the beginning and end of the row.

    Row 6: ch 1, turn, sc in first stitch, scV-st in space between 2 dc of each dcV-st across, sc in top of starting 3 ch – 33 (37, 41, 45, 49, 53, 58) scV-sts and 1 sc at the beginning and end of the row.

    Row 7: Ch 3, turn, dcV-st in the ch 2 space of each scV-st across, dc in last stitch.

    Repeat rows 6 and 7 until piece measures approximately 26 (26 1⁄2, 27, 27, 27 1⁄2, 27 1⁄2, 28)” [66 (67.5, 68.5, 68.5, 70, 70, 71 ) cm] from the beginning, ending with a row 6.

    The lower band

    Rows 2-4: PC 1, turn, sc in each stitch across.

    Body (V point pattern)

    Row 5 (right side): ch 3 (counts as first dc here and throughout), turn, dcS-st in next stitch, *skip next stitch, dcS-st in next stitch; repeat from * to the last stitch, tr in the last stitch – 31 (33, 33, 35, 35, 37, 37) dcV-sts and 1 tr at the beginning and end of the row.

    Repeat rows 6 and 7 until the piece measures approximately 16 1⁄2″ [42 cm] from the beginning, ending with a row 7. Fasten.

    finished

    Sew the shoulder seams for about 4 (4 1⁄2, 5, 6, 6 1⁄2, 7, 7 1⁄2)”. [10 (11.5, 12.5, 15, 16.5, 18, 19) cm], leaving the center open for the neck.

    Place the markers along the side edges of the front and back approximately 7 1⁄2 (8, 8, 8 1⁄2, 8 1⁄2, 9, 9)” [19 (20.5, 20.5, 21.5, 21.5, 23 , 23) cm] from the shoulder seams. Sew the top of the sleeves between the marks.

    Sew the side and sleeve seams.

    Weave in the ends.
