✅ Hook size E-4/3.5 mm.
✅ Round wicker handles approximately 6.25″.
✅ 1 6″ x 12″ wooden oval base with 70 holes.
✅ Tapestry needle.
✅ Point markers.
✅ Scissors and measuring tape.
Measurements
✅ Bag measures approximately 15.75” x 13.75”.
Caliber
10 stitches x 6 rows = 4”/10 cm over Pattern A (diagram 1) using hook E-4.
Instructions
Row 1: 70 sc in the base holes, close with 1 slip stitch.
Rows 2-24: Follow diagram 1 – pattern A and repeat the stitches.
Division of the body – sides – use the stitch markers.
Follow the diagram. Don’t work on the blue sections of the diagram.
Knit back and forth.
Rounds 25-28: Follow diagram 2.
Finish with the knitted edge – diagram 3 and repeat the stitches.
Knit in the round.
Rows 1-2: 148 single crochets = 36 single crochets (right side), 38 single crochets (front center), 36 single crochets (left side) and 38 stitches (back center).
Use the tapestry needle to sew the handles to the bag as shown in the image.
