Instructions
Sole (light brown)
9 Chains
3 chains to give height, 3 double crochets starting in the third chain, 3 half double crochets, 3 single crochets, 3 increases in single crochets and we return hiding the thread and knitting 3 single crochets, 3 half double crochets, 3 double crochets and in the last point we make 5 double crochet increases and close with a slip stitch.
In this round we start with 2 chains in height and we knit the entire round with half double crochets making 3 increases at the heel centered and 5 increases at the toe.
We start with 3 chains in height and we knit the entire round with double crochets making 3 increases centered on the heel and 3 increases at the toe separated by a normal double crochet.
We knit 2 exactly the same soles and join them by making slipped stitches on the edge with navy blue thread.
Heel part (navy blue)
We take 4 centered stitches from the heel part and knit 12 rows in total making a high chain and 3 single crochets all the rows. When we finish, we leave the end of the thread long and take the opportunity to fold and sew the strip.
Front (navy blue)
We knit 10 chains +1 in height, in the first round we knit starting in the 3rd chain, 3 single crochets, 3 half double crochets and 3 double crochets. In the following rounds (7 in total) we make 2 high chains and 9 half double crochets. We finish by knitting a chain, 3 single crochets, 3 half double crochets and 3 double crochets.
We sew the buttons and then attach them to the sandal by sewing on the chains around the sole.
Strip
We knit 8 chains + 8 for the buttonhole. We skip 8 chains and weave the remaining ones with single crochets.
We again knit 8 chains + 8 for the other buttonhole and we return again knitting with single stitches.
We join with a slip stitch to the other side and hide the threads.
