Round 1: 10 Dc in the magic ring. Close the ring, crochet the round, close the rounds with 1 st. 3 Dc to start the rounds is counted as 1 dc.

Round 2: 2 Dc in each dc until the end of the round.

Round 3: *2 dc in a row in the same base st, 2 dc* repeat until the end. (For larger sizes, make 2 more rows with increases = *Dc2tog, 3 dc – dc2tog, 4 dc*)

Round 5: BPdc in each dc until the end of the round.

Upper/bellows

Round 6: 3 Pc, *1 FPdc, 1 dc* repeat from * to * until the end of the round.

Rounds 7-43: 3 Dc, alternate FPdc and dc as follows: 1 FPdc in dc of the next round, 1 dc in FPdc of the next round.

Leg

Crochet in the round. Close the rounds with 1 st.

Round 44: Dc in dc and FPdc of the next round.

Rounds 45-51: Start with the edging: *1 FPdc, 1 BPdc* repeat * a * until the end of the round. Close, knit the ends.
