✅ Bag measures approximately 18″ [45.5 cm] long x 15″ [38 cm] wide.

✅ 12 sc and 15 rounds = 4″ [10 cm].

Instructions

Note: The cat bag is worked in a spiral. Don’t repeat the turns. No pc is worked at the beginning of the round unless otherwise indicated; You simply work directly into the next stitch (the marker to indicate the end of the round will move up each round).

Row 1: 1 sc in the 2nd sc from the hook. 1 sc in each sc to the last sc. 3 sc in the last sc. Working in remaining loops along opposite side of base sc, 1 sc in each sc to last sc. 2 pc in the last pc. Place the marker on the last point. 106 bp.

Round 2: 1 sc in each sc around. Move the marker up.

Repeat round 2 until your piece measures 22″ [56 cm] from the beginning.

Fold the top edge back 10cm [4″] to make a sturdier opening for the bag and sew facing away.
