✅ Approximately 80″ long x 18″ wide in the center.

Caliber

✅ 2 sts and 10 rows: 4″ [10 cm] double crochet after wet blocking

Instructions

✅ This pattern is worked laterally from left to right of the shawl.

✅ The odd rows are worked from right to left and the even rows from left to right. The last double crochet of a square is the first crochet of the next square.

✅ Unless otherwise indicated, start each round with 3 chains (counts as first double crochet of a block) or 4 chains (counts as first double crochet, 1 chain as start of round with a space). At the end of a round, the last double crochet is worked in the 3rd chain of the turning chain.

✅ Increase 1 space at the beginning of the round: 5 Chains, double crochet in the last stitch of the previous round.

✅ Increase 1 space at the end of the round: 1 double treble crochet, double treble crochet in the same stitch as the treble crochet just made.

✅ Decrease 1 space at the beginning of the round: 3 Chains, skip the next stitch, double crochet in the next stitch.

✅ Decrease 1 space at the end of the round: Skip 1 chain, double double crochet in the 3rd chain of the turning chain.
