•  Round 1: 4 sc inside the magic ring (4 stitches).
•  Round 2: [1 inc] x 4 (8 stitches).
•  Round 3: [1 sc, 1 inc] x 4 (12 stitches).
•  Round 4: 1 sc, 1 inc, [2 sc, 1 inc] x 3, 1 sc (16 stitches).
•  Round 5: [3 sc, 1 inc] x 4 (20 stitches).
•   Round 6-7: 2 rounds, each round 20 sc (20 stitches).
•  Round 8: 6 sc, [1 dis] x 4, 6 sc (16 stitches).
•  Round 9: 16 sc (16 stitches).
•  Round 10: 4 sc, [1 dis] x 4, 4 sc (12 stitches).
•  Round 11: 2 sc, [1 dis] x 4, 2 sc (8 stitches).
•  Round 12: 8 sc (8 stitches).
• Finishing: Cut the thread leaving a good margin and leave a long tail to sew.

 

Knit the Legs (4x)

The legs are knitted with the Piedra yarn in a spiral single crochet. Knit 4 legs.

• Crochet the legs in a spiral with Piedra yarn .
•  Round 1: 6 sc inside the magic ring (6 stitches).
•  Round 2: [1 inc] x 6 (12 stitches).
•  Round 3: [3 sc, 1 inc] x 3 (15 stitches).
•  Row 4: Work the entire row with only the back loop. 15 sc (15 stitches).
•     Round 5-8: 4 rounds, each round 15 sc (15 stitches).
•  Round 9: [3 sc, 1 dec] x 3 (12 stitches).
•  Round 10: 12 sc (12 stitches).
• Finishing: Cut the thread leaving a good margin and leave a long tail to sew.

 

Weave the Eyes (2x)

The eyes are knitted with white thread in a spiral single crochet. Knit 2 eyes.

• Knit the eyes in a spiral with White yarn .
•  Round 1: 6 sc inside the magic ring (6 stitches).
•  Round 2: [1 inc] x 6 (12 stitches).
•  Round 3: 1 sc, 1 inc, [2 sc, 1 inc] x 3, 1 sc (16 stitches).
•  Round 4: 16 sc (16 stitches).
• Finishing: Cut the thread leaving a good margin and leave a long tail to sew.

 

Mounting

Pupils: The pupils will be 6mm safety eyes that need to be shortened a bit after attaching, so that the eye itself is not accidentally deformed after being sewn to the head.

Insert the safety eye through the center of the eye you have knitted. If you’re having trouble getting through the crochet with the safety eye, thread a needle through the spot where you’re going to place the eye to make the hole bigger.

Next, attach the grommet and use scissors to shorten the insertable part of the eye.

Eyes: Sew the eyes to the head at a distance of 3 rows below the Cream area . The distance between the eyes should be one row of dots at the narrowest point.

Ears: Sew the ears to the left and to the right behind the eyes. Position the ears as close to the color change as possible.

Legs: Since the body is made up mostly of bubble stitches, you’ll need to sew the legs onto one of them. Start by sewing the legs to the 3rd row of bubble stitches, counting from the color transition. Sew the legs so that the “feet” (ie the rounded part) are below the bottom of the body. Next, sew the back legs at the same height as the front ones, at the back of the body.
