Mounting

Pupils: The pupils will be 6mm safety eyes that need to be shortened a bit after attaching, so that the eye itself is not accidentally deformed after being sewn to the head.

Insert the safety eye through the center of the eye you have knitted. If you’re having trouble getting through the crochet with the safety eye, thread a needle through the spot where you’re going to place the eye to make the hole bigger.

Next, attach the grommet and use scissors to shorten the insertable part of the eye.

Eyes: Sew the eyes to the head at a distance of 5 rows below the Dahlia color area . The distance between the eyes should be one row of dots at the narrowest point.

Ears: Start sewing the ears directly at the point of transition between the head and the body (in front of the row you have worked using only the front yarn). Try to sew the ears into as big a space as possible so that everything looks like one piece, as if the ears and the body are joined together.

Legs: Sew the front legs to the left and to the right, at a distance of 1 or 2 rows of stitches under the “collar” (ie the row you knitted using only the front loop). Sew the legs so that the “feet” (ie the rounded part) are below the bottom of the body. Next, sew the back legs at the same height as the front ones, at the back of the body.
