    Assembling

Legs: After you’ve finished crocheting all pieces, start sewing the legs onto the body. Start sewing the first leg onto the body directly over the edge that was created by the round that was crocheted only into the back loop. Sew on the second leg 4 to 5 stitches left or right from the first leg, again just over the edge.

Arms: Sew the arms left and right onto the body, 1 stitch row under the “neck”. Do not sew the arms directly over the legs but slightly behind the legs.

Eyes: Attach the safety eyes after the 7th stitch row counting from the top center of the head. The eyes are 4 stitches apart from each other. Back to the crochet pattern.

Feelers: Sew 3 feelers onto each side of the head, one above the other. Sew the first feeler onto the right side 4 stitches to the right and 3 stitches down from the eye and the first feeler on the left side 3 stitches to the left and 3 stitches down from the other eye.

Use a tapestry needle to push the end of a thread of a feeler through a stitch on the head and let the thread come out at the back of the head. Leave 1 stitch between each of the two threads.

For the next feeler, push the first thread through the same stitch that was used for the previous feeler, so that they are directly next to each other when sewn-on.

Tail: Sew the tail together as depicted, from the opening to the tip of the tail over several stitches so that you get a narrow and wide open part.
