Hello everyone! Do you like amigurumi? Me! Today I’m sharing a free pattern to make a cute dachshund in amigurumi. This pattern is ideal for beginners as it includes detailed step by step and photographs to guide you through each step of the process. 

In addition, you can further customize with your own style and choose your own color of wool. I hope you enjoy making your own amigurumi and share your creations with me!

It is very easy and very practical to do step by step. You can knit immediately during the day. You can knit the Longo amigurumi pattern for children and as a gift for newborns.

Materials

• Yarn: YarnArt Jeans 4-ply yarn/sport weight (50 g/160 m, 55% cotton, 45% acrylic): No. 70 brown (main), No. 53 black (nose, dog collar) • Hook
; For YarnArt Jeans I use no: 1,6
• Any toy filler
• Eyes: I used 6mm half pearls
• Button; Any little black button to fasten the dog’s collar.
• Glue, scissors, needle

HS  – magic ring
Ch  – chain
SC  – single crochet
Inc – increase in single crochet (2 sc in one stitch)
Dec – Decrease (2 sc together)
PC – slip stitch, slip stitch

After completing the body part of the amigurumi, we are going to crochet the neck part.

Neck

We knit the neck over the body. Insert the hook under the
V 1 stitches. 4 sc between rounds 3 and 4 of the body + 4 sc through the stitches on rounds 4-7 of the body + 4 sc between rounds 7 and 8 of the body + 4 sc up to rounds 7-4 of the body (16)
V 2-3. 2 rounds of 16 sc (16), pc
Cut the thread, leaving a tail to sew the head.
